If you saw my post on the 21 Most Colorful Cities in the World, then you know I start to drool a little when I see colorful architecture. I’ve shown you my favorite vibrant cities and towns–now I want to share where you can find colorful street art, Instagram-worthy doors, and funky architectural elements around the world.

1. THE BELTLINE, ATLANTA, GEORGIA, USA

There is so much art along the Atlanta BeltLine, but this is one of my favorites. It’s by an artist named HENSE and I found it right below the Virginia Avenue bridge. Read my post “Colorful Street Art on the Atlanta BeltLine” for more photos of street art in this area.

I travel to Los Angeles a couple times a year, and it’s one of my favorite places to visit (I’d love to move there one day). Although Malibu is my favorite area, I also really like West Hollywood, which is where I found this mural on Melrose Ave. Read my post “Travel Guide: 3 Days in Los Angeles” to see more cool spots to visit in L.A or watch my video below.

  • Great post. I love colorful doors and street art too! You need to get more on here though.. maybe separate it into continents! There are so many great murals and colorful doorways here in Korea that you missed. ^^

  • Vyjay Rao

I was literally bowled over by this colourful and vibrant medley of street art. The art is really vibrant and very creative. The pictures too complement the art.

  • Christine Krzyszton

Wow, that was a fun ride. Love the art, love the fashion, and love the way you put this together. Would love to visit some of these places just to stare at the art in person. Thanks for sharing the collection.

  • Amanda Williams

This is such a colourful post. I love it! It is hard to pick a favourite as they are all gorgeous pics. But I particularly like the doorway in Morocco and the the house front in Riga. Also the stair way in Rio is really bright. So cool!

  • Yes! The Golden Square Mile neighborhood in Montreal had a colorful mural painted on an old shipping cargo in the middle of a park. Of course I had to make an impromptu photo shoot out of it lol

  • Monica Calangian

Everything look so picture-perfect even from first glance! Morocco is on the top of my new list of destinations next year. No wonder it has three entries there in your list. 🙂 Ah, but the one in Rio is also wonderful

  • Marie Mekosh

Wow, seriously LOVE this! Street art is one of my favorite things to stumble upon while traveling to new places <3

  • Klipdrifters Trail

Love the pencil fence, very unique! Oh and that monster door.. epic! A great collection of street art designs! Love discovering this kind of thing while traveling.
