My mom's back! The last time I saw her was 11 months ago in Dubai. We took a side trip there after I visited her in India.

I was fairly nervous about her traveling back to the US. Cases are HIGH in both India and the US and she had trouble for months trying to get a flight. The idea of my mom being on flights and in airports for 48 hours in the middle of this global health crisis was unnerving 😳

Thankfully she arrived with no issues, quarantined with my dad for a few weeks, and tested negative. Now she's coming to stay with hubs and me!

She'll be quarantining in our basement for another few days just to be extra cautious and until then we'll be wearing masks around each other. I'm just glad she's finally back home and will be here to see her grandson when HE comes homes 👶🏽

Also happy our new basement bedroom will finally be put to use 🤪 Just finished decorating it and will share the new update in my stories later!

Now that Thanksgiving is over, Christmas can shine. Save this recipe for my @ozofoods vegan holiday meatballs! [ad]

What makes this recipe holiday-themed is the cranberry chili sauce. And the #OZOFoods meatballs make this a quick and easy dish because they come pre-seasoned and ready to bake. All you have to do is make this holiday sauce!

👩🏽‍🍳 Christmas Cranberry Meatball Recipe:

1 Package OZO Plant-Based Italian Meatballs
1 Can (14 oz) jellied cranberry sauce
1 Bottle (12 oz) chili sauce
½ Cup coconut sugar (use less if you want it less sweet)
1 Tablespoon lemon juice

1. Bake OZO meatballs in oven at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 8 minutes.

2. Place cranberry sauce, chili sauce, coconut sugar, and lemon juice in a bowl and whisk together.

3. When meatballs are done, pour chili cranberry sauce over them.

4. Bake for another 8 minutes.

5. Serve warm! (see my IG stories to see how I did it)
